TX TOUGH GRAND PRIX III

This past week (September 16, 2010) Velocé Speedwear was at the TX TOUGH GRAND PRIX III, it hard to believe that every year the event keeps getting bigger and better, this time around there were several changes:

• The event was also selected to be the final event of the USA Crit Series!
• Added the amateur race where CAT 2 & CAT 3 riders needed to collect a minimum of $600.00 to be eligible to race (all proceeds going to Dallas Children’s Hospital)!
• Added the celebrity 1 lap challenge were Doctor Oz, made a special appearance!
• Podium/Champion Jerseys were given to the top Fundraiser, champion of the 2-3 Race, and champion for the pro-race!

TX Tough is a fundraiser that is designed for people all ages and skill levels that raises money exclusively for Children’s Medical Center. Individuals and teams participate in a variety of fundraising events through the year as part of the TX Tough Tour, which features a walk/run, swim and family bike ride. Participants can participate in one, two or all three stages, raising money for whichever Children’s Medical Center program, service or clinic that inspires them.
